Eco Media was purchased by CBS over a year ago. Basically, the company’s goal is to use corporate advertising dollars to produce media that raises public awareness about environmental issues and helps fund solutions.

Kene has over 14 years of non-profit experience in both training and support services, providing management and coordination. He has provided trainings on various professional developments, principles of leadership, general work force development, Green Job trainings, self-help, and entrepreneurship training programs throughout New York City and in multiple cities nationwide. Prior to starting EpiLife Consulting Inc., Kene managed all entrepreneurial programs for the YMCA of Greater New York, an organization that serves over 15,000 NYC youth. While at the YMCA, Kene helped to raise over $200,000 in funding on behalf of entrepreneurship education, and was the project manager for an innovative Business Program Guide made for YMCA after school program locations. As a result, the program guide has been offered in New York, NY and in Los Angeles, CA. Kene is also a Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher Instructor with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, a leading provider of Entrepreneurship Education. Through NFTE Kene has had the opportunity to serve hundreds of teens, young adults, and Department of Education teachers all across the country. Kene has provided training and professional development for NFTE at colleges such as Northwestern University, Columbia University, New York University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins to name a few. Kene was also a Curriculum reviewer for NFTE’s newest 11th edition Text Book, which is used throughout the United States and Internationally. Kene has collaborated with a variety of organizations over the last few years, serving the needs of the inner city socially, economically, and environmentally. Environmental Organizations such as Solar 1, in which in just a little over a year Kene has helped to raise over $100,000 for the Entrepreneurship program, has taken the program from 1 program location to 10, from 1 program personnel to 4, and has helped to established an environmental entrepreneurship curriculum for all program locations to use. Kene plans to continue his work in Environmental Education for many years to come. Other Non profits include the Allan Houston Business Development Program, Isthmus Sunpower Energy, Ashoka’s Youth Venture, Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship, and Teatown Institute. As a husband, a father of 3, and a friend to the community, Kene is equipped with a holistic approach to Entrepreneurship and Social Development and is viewed as an innovative, charismatic instructor. With a BS in Business Management from the College of Staten Island, Kene brings a deep understanding and commitment to young people through a diverse number of communities, with an ability to draw practical connections between educational content and the lived experiences of the organizations he serves.
